So I use the steam version of the game. Earlier today it crashed but I was able to log back in no issue, however now the launcher either immediately closes, or if I get into the game by opening it as an administrator, the game automatically closes too. I'm trying to verify my file integrity right now but I've no clue whats going on.

i assume you have tried closing pc and switching back.may help if it was running before log out of steam and back in.
That didn't work sadly. Did a verification of files and that found some missing. yet this didn't work either for the first 3 tries launching it still. Yet now it just works?? Computers are weird.
as they say to error is human ,to realy screw it up you need a computer,glad it is working again.07
Check the event logs for disk errors.
