Launcher :
1. Rewritten to be cross platform. Either by using mono (should require nearly no re-writing - only minor changes but i'm sure it could use a rewrite anyway) or hell. even python tkinter would be an improvement. (current versions of wine do a good job with the launcher but some of the menu drop downs still bug out for some reason - though the important stuff is working)
2. Account dropdown for multiple player accounts with associated character name listed. (include the associated add / remove account list items in the dropdown)
3. Automatic binding / settings backup before any updates. These backups are stored in a timestamped zip in a folder
4. Isolated game settings for each game. With the option to copy over the bindings/settings from an existing game. So you could choose to manage independent bindings/settings from horizons , odyssey, arena or even beta's if you want, or you could apply the same settings from 1 to any of the others.
5. Loading with new peripherals or missing peripherals does not wipe bindings, but rather creates a new active profile. Allowing the player to switch back to their previous profile if they want. This can be enumerated as "Custom1, custom2, custom3, etc" . This may actually exist in the real game and not the launcher. Not 100% on this one.
6. Fix the server status area or get rid of it. It appears to be something someone manually triggers and not based on any actual server checks or the check it does is insufficient.
7. player journal explorer / viewer. Allowing you to view your player journal and see things such as stats and current system / visited systems etc directly from the launcher (this would of course change depending on the currently active account and selected - highlighted game). Bonus if it loads a snapshot of your character (that the game takes when finishing customizing a character) - as well as active vehicle if there is one (also taken after each customization of the vehicle).
8. building on #7, route progress info given last route plot (i know, this is kinda broken in odyssey since opening the galaxy map re-computes the route and so can change the route instead of loading the previous route plot like horizons seemed to do) ..but it would still be nice to see if i'm 30 jumps to my destination etc and what that destination is and maybe other info such as time since the route was originally started and how long i've been on this journey.
Something along those lines would be nice.
