Launcher is blank

The Elite Launcher is mostly just a blank white box. Fortunately the "Play" button is still there and it works (phew!) but a restart and validating game files haven't fixed the issue.

Any ideas?

That bit is basically a browser. If whatever serves up the page is not working it'll be blank.

meh - it'll sort itself out, as long as Play works

Actually - I just right clicked it and chose refresh and it came back. Worth a try

I've had that from time to time. It always fixed itself after a few days or more.

Fdev told me to do a full reinstall as a result of this in a twitter message. I'm not sure how the browser part of the launcher being affected calls for a reinstall of the game though.

(One of the) last time(s) it was a Windows thing (browser scaling issue).

it was written using internet explorer which is still hidden on your machine try opening and setting all settings within to default
or some with scaling issues may even need to update its old ass as far as IE 11 can be updated(win 7 users)
probably a placebo if amazon servers were having another bad day mind you if it has displayed correctly in the past ok
and its not a netframework thing else the game would not work at all
