launcher keeps giving me this dumb popup

I am hoping someone can help me. every time I launch ED from either the Oculus home or the .exe I keep getting this popup saying an update is required and to check oculus home, but there is no update in oculus home. I have gone as far as to reinstall the game. starting in desktop mode doesn't work either just the same popup.

Have you tried to log out from the launcher and log back in?

Getting the Same, even deleted the game and reinstalled and get the same error.

Getting to the point of giving up on this soon.

I cant choose anything on the launcher with the popup window and when I close the window it closes the launcher

Have you tried to log out from the launcher and log back in?

It won't allow you to get to the launcher, that error blocks it and auto closes the launcher

Several people in the PC subforum are reporting the same problem with Oculus. I am in the same boat too, by the way.

Not only is the update not working or not ready for Oculus, it's also locked Oculus users out of both versions of the game.

It looks like FD just dropped a fix. The funny thing is it only showed up after I ran the .exe file as admin. I don't know, maybe just one of them things.
