Launcher now asking me to login.

This evening, I fire up the Launcher as usual, but get prompted to login to my Frontier account. Bemused, I put in my email and password. Then I get a request for a verification code. I grab that off my email (wondering why it's asking me to verify my 'new' login) and am told I need to 'Please purchase/redeem Elite Dangerous to continue'.

Say what...? :confused:

Has there been a launcher update which has broken my Epic Games account linking...?

UPDATE: Okay, fixed by unlinking and relinking my Epic account.

Hello @ Moirai i have tried to launch Elite through epic just ended in a loop asking for a code entering code then purchase elite ??? trying to log in another code and so on ,what did you do to unlink and relink ? its crazy worked earlier today its driving me insane :}

Close the Launcher.

Go to the Frontier User Info page, and login.

At the bottom you will see a section for 'LINKED THIRDPARTY ACCOUNTS'. Under that will be an entry for your Epic account, and a big red 'Unlink' button. Click that.

Then, again under 'LINKED THIRDPARTY ACCOUNTS' where it says 'Link my account to:', choose 'Epic', choose Epic Games from the list displayed, and then enter your Epic username and password when requested to relink your account.

Now reopen the Launcher.

Hello i went back into epic and clicked launch and i`m back in i dont know what happened but all ok now thanks for your help ,i will make a note of your steps just in case :}

Logged in to the game exobiolgist and merccenery section are greayed out i have been playing since ver 14 came out have tried the Unlink still no change afraid to play the game now don't want to mess it up i had reached compiler in exo rank.

Yes, it's made me Log In on the basic FDev launcher, to my main account, which is now updating. It will take a couple of hours so I can't check yet if anything is broken.

Bit annoying as I only wanted to go in briefly to get the 100 free Xmas arx.
