Any advice? It was getting slower and slower to open the last few days (it takes now around 5 minutes to open the game launcher) and now when it opens it's 50/50, or it freezes, or it asks for my credentials to enter the game, I write them, get the code in my e-mail, then it returns some kind of error saying it couldn't connect. My other online games work just fine. And Elite was running ok before the last update (17/06/21).

your trouble is connection related somewhere along the amazon server network brazil to Ireland (host location)
is poor as to why who knows?
I can only recommend trying a good gaming vpn to see if it can get around the bottle neck
I am from the uk the game opens in 60 sec and a hyperspace jump takes 10 approx
to put things into perspective
possibly changing to a static ip address may help along with lowering mtu levels possibly
all just trial an error stuff to see whats better if anything...….

No. It's new. It's composed of two 1tb nvme corsair ssds. For all other games I play, it only take a couple seconds to open them. My problem is with Elite. Also, yesterday I was able to play Elite almost normal without vpn or anything done by me to correct the game. Things worked out on their own apparently. Although I got a Scarlet Krait error code after winning a terrestrial combat zone, which kicked back to the menu. My mistake thinking Odyssey would work correctly for once.
