Launcher to patch its self

Why in this day and age do we have to download an installer to overwrite the current launcher to make it patch its self.

I use custom install locations depending HDD space for games, every single time I have to remind my self where the launcher is installed, as I do Not use the default.

Make it patch its self.

I'm not sure how my computer does it, but whenever there is a new launcher to be installed, it suggest automaticly my previus location to install to (and I too do not use the drive/folder that is the default one, I have all games in a folder created and named games) So it should be possible for you to not have to remember where you've installed ED
