Launcher Update Process, More Details Please

So the updater on the launcher, it tells me 3 things.
1: That it's Syncing Files.
2: Speed of the download.
3: Hours left to complete.

What I would like it to tell me.
1: Total size of the update (so I know how much bandwidth it's going to take).
2: How much I've downloaded so far (so I know accurately how much progress I've made).
3: Estimated completion time in Hours, Minutes AND Seconds (seriously, only hours, that's ridiculous).

I throttled to 1.5 meg cus family watching live TV, it was est. just under 2 hrs at that speed.

Edt: clearly missread, thought you were asking so you could work it out.

No worries, requesting that that kind of information and an accurate time is actually in the launcher, most other launchers provide it.

I don't think the launcher even knows how much it will have to download at any given time, it just does a verification run, downloads missing data on the fly, and estimates time remaining by how fast it's currently going and how much data would be left for a complete installation.
