Same here mate not sure what this is about. Anyone out there know why?

I get the same thing. (Referring to the "Failed to read from response stream. Network connection closed" message - when trying to restart an interrupted download of the Beta.).

In previous betas, restarting an interrupted download always seemed to work OK.
Although I do have a pretty slow/bad internet connection anyway...

If you own the lifetime expansion pass, you should get all content and all beta testing included in that, so no you do not need to buy anything.

FYI : Just refreshed Launcher to find 2.1 Engineers Beta is now available again!!

How you did it ? I've Elite Horizon beta on steam and don't wanna work.... cannot see anything about Engineers.

Hi, The engineers part of the game is only in beta right now, so if you only have a Horizons season pass you won't be able to play yet. You would need to purchase beta access to play. If you bought Horizons on steam I am not sure how you can buy into the beta - I think you have to do it direct on the Frontier Store.

I bought it in December at xmas, and I think was a beta. Then they made some changes with steam version and now is a DLC with Horizon season pass. Well now I understand what can be. Thanks.

Do you know how much time they estimate to let it avaible to all Horizons season pass owners ? Thank you

I've got another problem here. The "PLAY" button for Engineers Beta 2.1 has been replaced by an "UPGRADE" button. I tried to click on it but nothing happens. Plus, instead of being Blue, the button is Grey.

Hey guys,

Just a very quick message to let you know that a new launcher update is going live shortly.

The launcher will be a mandatory update on steam and Oculus and will be optional elsewhere. It will become mandatory when the beta goes live tomorrow.

I would suggest downloading the update today where possible, to allow you to get ready for tomorrows beta.

Every time a new launcher comes out I get this error after trying to run it that says...

"An error occurred while trying to rename a file in the destination directory:
MoveFile failed; code 183.
Cannot create a file that file already exsists."

Then asks me if I want to Abort retry or ignore. So far my only fix is to make a new install in some other folder or something.
