Newcomer / Intro Launching Question

So you're saying that if you set your ship down on the pad with your throttle still engaged, that you can hit X any old time before clicking launch and that'll do you? If so that's a change from how it was in 1.0, which is a pretty nice bug fix to have skipped over in the patch notes. I don't use kb/mouse anymore so a fix like that wouldn't catch my eye.

Edit: actually, rereading your post and I don't think your post makes any sense at all. It's like you're talking about a completely different issue.

sorry for any confusion: I come into the station at about 30% power.. locate my pad and continueunder power until I can see the pad... I then use my down thruster while cutting power to 10%. I lower my gear when I get the warning then guide my vessel in so it scrape the deck at 10% and let the magnetics catch me and then I will shut down power.
