launching the game without using the epic launcher

hello once again the epic-games servers are down.
wonder if there is a way to launch the game without epic because it tells me on the frontier release that I don't have the game

It is possible to run the Epic version of Elite without EGS, however it still needs to authenticate ownership via a python script.

Make sure your EDLaunch.exe file is in the same location specified by the script or edit it accordingly, and make sure you are signed in to your epic game store account in your default browser.
