Another good edit John :)

Hope everybody enjoys this episode.

Please remember to give us some feedback on iTunes.

If you have any question you would like the team to discuss on next week show please email them over to info@laveradio.com or if you want to record it and send it to us that would be great too.

Finally still asking for elite memories to include on the show, so keep them coming.

Another good ep, chaps! I'm glad that you got so much mileage from my ASBO orange ship idea. While you COULD choose to make off with that ship, the idea is that your impounded ship is considerably more badass, so it would be much more effective to serve your time rather than start again.

Imagine that you have your pimped out Cobbie, with tinted cockpit, 20" thruster rims, "1RN 455" vanity plate and undercarriage neons. Are you going to give that up?

I thoroughly enjoyed the episode, I finally managed to get through the last part of it last night.

I have to say the editing really makes it feel like a Saturday afternoon meet up in the Coffee bar between good friends. That is not an easy thing to pull off and though I abhor canned laughter... have you considered it to add that Sitcom feel? If so... please don't.

HAve you approached Mr Braben for interview yet? I can not imagine you haven't and Im equally certain it will be something he will love to do before the game release.. I look forward to each episode and If you are READING this and haven't tuned in... DO SO NOW before you are 8 - 9 hours of listening behind.. It is a great way to hear whats going on if you aren't keeping up with new letter and forums... which I realise means this post is as effective as a TV ad for people who don't watch TV...

THanks for the Radio guys, I thoroughly enjoy and it helps me feel involved, I wonder IF when you have sections from the forums you are discussing IF you could put links to these threads/post into the radio website so we can easily join in without trolling through the forums?

Thanks again.. I am off to review it on Itunes..

Thanks for the kind words. I can promise that we won't be adding any (unironic) canned laughter any time soon! We'll also try and remember to add links to the show notes.

Loved the 4th episode.

I laughed out lound in the car whilst travelling to work when the "sweater ad" came up knowing PERFECTLY well what you were talking about. A real crackup !!

Loved it as always! Great work.

oh for the Lave radio gang, I'm with Fozza. I think having an orange ASBO ship sent out to pick up "garbage" as a punishment is AWESOME !!!!

I'm with Fozza !!!

I couldn't stop laughing. I was listening thinking "Yes Fozza !!! That is an awesome idea! There needs to be consequences!" :D

It would make for an interesting poll; who would be willing to perform the ASBO mission to get their ship back?

We could prove Allen wrong!

Having just started listening to the podcast, and hearing the concept of John Stabler in his jammies, I have the MOST AWESOME idea for Elite mechandise.

Elite Logo Onesies.

Oh yes.

I think your own to something... I take it you want Orange Onesies?

For that Chain Gang feel? To go with your orange viper..

Orange onesies with arrow on for the criminals!

White onesies with gold Elite logo for the Founders!!

Imperial and Federal themed onesies!!!

The possibilities are ENDLESS!!!!

There could be a onesie for ALL occasions. And there would be rules that the onesies have to be worn for multiplayer sessions!!!!!

Perhaps the orange asbo ship should be reserved for people deemed griefers by FD mods (or for those who dare to mock Mr Braben's knitwear) ;)

I am a fan of jstick or mouse.+ keyboard myself (not gamepad) however a decent, clever control mapping system would be good for all eventualities.

my gameplay would be humanitarian so I would be doing refugee runs, freeing slaves etc so unless I am in a system where doing humanitarian trade/missions/assistance has a fine associated with it, I'll never have to do ASBO time but just for the purposes of discussion, I think you know what my answer (and Fozz's) would be if we did have to................ we would.

and it would be soooooooooooooo funny!

oh as for my preferred control, it is strictly keyboard and mouse. I could never get used to PC joysticks after the Amiga they just have way too much "give". I did get retro joysticks which match old C64/Amiga/Atari2600 ones but it's too late.......years of keyboard use, I play that way. :)
