Thanks guys for another great show... informative and yet thought provoking..
I liked the laser battle between Stroud and Barley and how poor John Stabler was colateral damage..

I need to listen to these at a more reasonable time!!! *YAAAAAWN*

I think everyone should email Ashley ...
Dear Ashley, I would like to change my Commander name to inson,
just so Ashley goes "OH no, what have I done? Curse those lave radio boys !!!" :D :D :D

Awesome! Can't wait to hear this later :)

Writers Interview 7 - Darren Grey - TFTF - Pre Production

Ahh, pressure :/ If anyone has any specific questions feel free to ask!

Anyone spot the guest voice in the adverts? Smooth Mr Rockforth is lurking on these forums somewhere...;)

Would you fly with them, or Astrogator Tours? ;)

I like the news about the magnetic boots. Now will there be an opportunity to buy different types at a spaceport or will it be assumed that everyone has a pair in the same way that we all assume the pilots all have jackets etc.
My reasoning comes when the update is implemented and we can walk through our ship as the type of magnetic boot could help or impede walking and running depending on the type of boot purchased (cheap permanent magnet would be more difficult to walk in compared to the electromagnet that switches on and off depending on where in the step you are) as well as type of ship (a bare floored Cobra will need a weaker magnetic boot to stick to the floor compared to the plush **** pile carpet on the fer de lance).

Damn fine episode this week, guys! Ashley was brilliant - a fitting replacement for Jarvis. I think you now have your official replacement for the "Community Corner" section - "Ask Ashley".

Great range of topics again, but I think the depth of Ashley's contributions was unexpected and welcome. It was great to hear the "inside story".

Allen's music for the end was wonderful - tense and with a hint of excitement and danger in it.

On that subject, Allen didn't mention that he'd honoured me with a visit to Chez Selezen the other week though, which I thought would be worthy of at least a sentence - the rare face-to-face meeting of two fictioneers. :)

Going from strength to strength guys, well done again.

(I don't review much on iTunes, especially as when the phone comes up for renewal at the end of the month I'll probably jump to Android).

Perhaps in the next newsletter FD will reveal the different carpet and upholstery options are available on the sidewinder?
