Other than the FAS, Fed ships move like trash. It's only the Cutter that is even remotely questionable, with the Courier and Clipper being just fine. Not forgetting the most manoeuvrable ship in the game.
Anyway it's been proven that you fly better when you look good, and all Imp ships come with an increased basking modifier. [yesnod]

Nah the empire cant build ships, the cutter is nothing but a big brick house that is only good from running away from any fights, now you wanna see a real piece of art then head on over to the ship yard and buy you a vette.
It was very challenging to shoot these, but I realized to shoot much easier was to use my ship as a sort of dolly to slide across the scene, then just use the camera controls like a tripod head. 5-10m/s seems to be the sweet spot to get these nice smooth movements.
