Newcomer / Intro Legacy Horizons. Selected target doesn't show up in HUD!

Getting back to the game after not playing for a while, i still play Horizons Legacy. Installed the game in a new laptop and everything seems to be working fine except the squared rectangle that shows the selected target in your radar is missing! It shows ships but not systems of stations. Don't think this has happened in the past, maybe there is something i need to check now? Or it is a bug with legacy Horizons? It makes the game unplayable. Last time i played was on a desktop couple of months ago and it was fine. For example i target a station or a planet, and there is no indication on the radar despite it being locked (which i can see if i blindly turn around till i face it), Sensors work fine, plenty of power.

I could check Odyssey i have it but it is uninstalled atm..

I have reinstalled the game Odyssey only and it happens there too. Most of the time the targeted thing doesnt appear as targeted on the radar, ..

"For science" .. .I loaded up Legacy and had no problem, angle brackets appear on the radar and in the HUD (for non-ships):












There has always been an issue with the angle brackets sometimes not being displayed in the HUD - I don't know why they can't fix that.

It looks like the same behavior we get when we add something to the ignore list. It can still be targeted, but doesn't show on the scanner display.

It kind of corrected itself after playing a while... never figured out what was causing it.
