Newcomer / Intro Legal Salvage

I don't know what the problem is really, it never used to be this way!
When driving in my SRV and finding "Legal Salvage" cannisters - as soon s I scoop one - I have the annoying "cargo acquired" notice come up and it stays there for 20 - 30 seconds. Sometimes it won't go at all and I have to retract scoop and wait 10 seconds and then redeploy it to get the next cannister.

Anyone else having this issue?
More to the point..... is there a fix or is it juist a bug we must tolerate?

Seems it was a bug and it was mentioned in the "What Are you up to?" thread.
Maintainance Thursday over and I had no issue collecting salvage today.
Fingers crossed that it was a bug and fixed!

Random thought. Anyone else annoyed that if you are doing manual scooping (numbskullforgotlimpetscoughcough), the cargo acquired message blocks your view of the next scoop you want for a brief while?

By me, and I referred to an overlap with various other bugs to do with cargo handling (and collector limpets). The bug seems to be to do with the game having to call the servers after a scoop, and the servers have been ... not good... with all those kinds of things since November.

There's a workaround which sometimes helps, which is to target and untarget the next canister you want, cycling that sometimes seems to unstick the whole process.

Here's the thread on the limpets, which includes scooping Thargoid stuff, canisters, and mining fragments.

Like all the server-related issues at the moment it gets better for a few hours after a restart so Thursday morning things are usually much better but then they run into the mud again by the evening.

Thanks Markov.

I was waiting for about 20 seconds (average) for the "Cargo acquired" sign to fade out. I also tried retracting scoop and re-deploying. I don't think the latter was of much help it just made me feel better that I was actually doing something
