Lego ASP explorer

I just wanted to bring up the lego ideas asp explorer again as it still needs a lot of backers if it is going to have a chance of existing. this isn't a beg to get it support but just to let people know about it.

Looks great, I've registered with Lego and supported the project. Do you have any other designs for other ships?

What am I missing here?
It looks pretty good, did you come up with the design?
If so why not just give a list of parts on the forum and the plan so that interested ED players can build their own.

I knew i'd seen that - I thought i'd seen it on a Lego idea email but i was falling asleep when i read it and chalked it off to my imagination!

I have also metaphorically thrown my hat into the ring, which is a bit of an odd thought! I love Lego and almost have unpleasant trouser-accidents when I reminisce at times. On a serious side though, these are awesome, and I would love to see that Master Builder making more models from Elite - I would certainly purchase one!!

already voted for both models, SRV and Asp, and tried to get my friends to throw their voice in ... I'd love to have a full series on Elite, there's a lot of potential, and great PR for Elite - but I can also see lots of sales on the lego page ... I need a new project following that Super Star Destroyer I am building with the kids atm (slow'n steady ... no more than a few pages per week)

there is a good scarab srv by the same guy but I doubt that will get done as it doesn't have many backers

I did not make it, I only found it so I cant release the instructions

I hate the Asp, but for the effort of the originator and because it's Elite, I decided to register and support it.

Had it been a Cobra or an Anaconda, hell, almost any other ship, I'd buy it.

yeah, the asp is a good ship but it depends on what you want to do in elite. I personally love it but thanks for supporting it anyway
