Ships Lei Cheung and Didi Vatermann

Hi,

If I engineered Shield Boosters to grade 3 at Lei Cheung, can I continue upgrading to grade 5 at Didi Vatermann, or do I need to remove all engineering from my modules first?

Assuming you already have G4 upwards for that blueprint unlocked with Didi, yes. Otherwise you’d need to engineer other modules with Didi first in order to unlock G4 grade.

That was a bit of an issue on my last visit. I had nothing more I could engineer at Didi's, so I couldn't progress to level 4. I suppose I could bring a fresh shield generator and have her engineer that to get to level 4. But I don't want to start over with the shield boosters which are all at level 3 already.

You have the right idea. Another method is to just store one of your SB’s, buy another one and engineer that one to gain rep with Didi. As time goes on and you get more ships you can either swap back or use the stored SB on a future ship.
