Engineers Lei Cheung - Market count not going up.

Hi,

On PS4 I have been trying to unlock Lei Cheung. I'm currently at 43/50. The problem is, it's been this way for well over 24 hours now despite me doing the following:

Yesterday

- Did a bunch of the CG trade runs, making sure I went to a different supplier station for Lithium each time.

- Then tried taking missions to "Source and supply". Still not going up.

Today

Tried more missions, both delivery and source and supply. Nope....

Started doing a bit of rare trading, going to systems I hadnt even been to before, nope, still at 43/50.

I've tried relogging into different modes. The PS4 was completely shut down overnight, I figured the stuff I did yesterday might update today.

Any advice would be much appreciated :)

I noticed this on PC as well, although suddenly my count went up about 12 hours later, I realise you already waited longer than that, so I realise that isn't particularly helpful. I'm pretty sure that selling mission items to a station you have not dealt with before counts (i.e. modular terminals, etc), so I think rather than say 'you have to make a profit' I think it's more accurate to say 'if you make a loss, it doesn't count'. So look out for missions that reward cargo that send you to a station you haven't been to before. :)

You dont need to make profit just go to a new station, that you never trade before buy some random stuff and sell it back you lose some credit but it will count toward progression this is how i get my invitation on ps4 and the market count wont go up until you log out and log back the game

Unlocking Lei Cheung for my second account I simply went to the left of where I was, station after station, only buying and selling one tone of hydrogen fuel at each. The fastest way.

It appears it is a known issue and is being looked at. An FDev QA responded to the bug report.

Wanderlust was starting to take hold anyway , so engineer unlocking can wait until I get back from the black :)
