Coaster Crazy Length of Coasters?

So i just downloaded CC and im finding it frustrating how small the limit of length is, im wondering if this number gets larger than 500, and if so whats the maximum? who wants to build a coaster thats just 2 hills and 2 loops.

I wouldn't be too concerned about the length of the coasters, by the time you get to the 1500 metre tracks you will find that it is more than enough to fit in everything you could possibly want.

1500 meters (metres?) is nearly 5000 feet, which smokes most real-world coasters. That's nearly a mile of track! Once coasters get that long, people start getting worn out from the stress, and sick from the violent motion, etc.

That may be a reasoning why park sims are better than just coaster sims, since with park sims it's easier to do smaller coasters with other stuff in between. With coaster sims, and nothing else, the desire is really strong to just go, um....coaster crazy.

all i know is my best coasters on rct were 6-8 thousand feet
