Lenovo Explorer, no HOTAS

Hi,

I can't seem to get my HOTAS (x-52) to recognize in Elite through WMR. I have an Oculus and I've never had any issue previously. I've tried uninstalling the Oculus software, and even switching the USB ports on the HOTAS.

Windows recognizes the HOTAS just fine, and registers button presses under Game Controllers, but when I log into Elite it doesn't see these controllers and won't let me map any buttons/axis.

I start Elite the way most folks recommend, by starting SteamVR and letting Steam VR start WMR. Headset works great, keyboard and mouse work, I just can't use my joystick.

Pulling my hair out trying to come up with something else to check. I've scoured google/frontier forums, but can't seem to find any solution. It looks like a handful of people have had this issue, but it works fine out of the box for most.

Does anyone have any ideas?

It works perfectly both with Acer VR and Odyssey+.
Try to use different usb controller to connect hotas. and reinstall saitek software. Its not much, I nothing better have on mind.

I figured it out! When I went back to 2d /oculus after rebooting I had the same issue.

Apparently, I needed to set elite to "run as administrator". Everything works now!
