Lens Matched Shading question

Hello there fellow VR Commanders.

I have decided to jump into VR with the new discounted RIFT package.

I think i have a pretty decent setup alredy to play ED in VR.

CPU - i5 4670k - OC 4.4ghz
GTX 1080 - With a modest OC
16GB of DDR3 RAM with XMP 1866Mhz

My headset will arrive in about a week, so i have alredy started preparing and reading up on how to get the best possible experience, and i have found this :

https://developer.nvidia.com/vrworks/graphics/lensmatchedshading

My question would be that is LMS supported in Elite? After some googleing i couldnt find any answer.

I would appreciate if someone would enlighten me. Thanks!

No, Simultaneous Multi Projection/Lens Matched Shading are not currently implemented by Elite.

None of the Nvidia VRWorks APIs are.

As Pascal exclusives i dont ever see them being implemented in Elite to be honest, would not make any sense whatsoever to do so from a business standpoint, as much as i would love to see it.

As far as maintaining frame rates goes - with your hardware setup and the help of OVR Asynchronous Spacewarp you are guaranteed an awesome Elite Dangerous experience.

Some of the VRworks features are also supported on Maxwell cards like VRSLI. I would love to see it supported but I don't see it happening.
