Leo Covas

Why would anyone want this depressing COVAS integrated into their ship's system? Especially when out in the middle of nowhere in the solitude of space. I wonder if there have been reports already of commanders pressing the self destruct button out there in the black.

As previously stated its voiced by Norman Lovett who played Holly, the ship's computer, in Red Dwarf and yes I've got Leo as my Covas.

Why?

IMHO its the best Covas currently available until we (hopefully) get more of the HCS Voice Packs converted to Covas packs. I'm hoping we get the Paul Darrow, Tom Baker, John De Lancie, Brian Blessed or some of the other packs.

In an ideal world Frontier/HCS would entice Stephen Moore out of retirement to voice a pack and before anyone asks who - Stephen Moore was the original voice of Marvin the Paranoid Android from the HHGG radio series and subsequent records and tv series.

Leo is my Krait II COVAS for DW2 because of Red Dwarf nostalgia, if I ever get tired of him I have a different COVAS in my SLF and SRVs

I keep Leo as the COVAS on one of my two SRVs, the other one has Alix. Lets me have some choice as to which COVAS I'll have when planetside. :)

I installed him on my second account, although I have no idea who or what red dwarf was/is/gonnabe.
I also wouldn't call him depressed, he comes across rather indifferent to me.

I was about to suggest Douglas Rain (HAL 9000) if only to hear him say "I can't let you do that, Dave" if I tried to hyper with my landing gear down, but he died last year T_T

Still, even if I already made a thread about it, I would like to have a COVAS with the voice of James Faulkner from The Turing Test.

RIP Douglas Rain. He was an actor at Stratford (Ontario) as well.
