You can go to a target station and have any ship you want delivered there, but that can be a bit frustrating, since you first need to fly there and then do it.
But that gave me an idea. What if you could order your NPC to fly your ship to a destination FOR you? This could work exactly like going to a target station and summoning a ship there, just with less restrictions because you're inside your ship.
For example, say your friend is fighting in a Hazrez 10 systems away. You want to join him, but you don't want to fly 10 jumps in your combat ship, and you don't really want to swap ships and then wait 10 minutes for your ship to be delivered.
Instead, you task your NPC to take you to the target system, and then you telepresence multicrew in with your friend! You can fly his fighter or control his turrets for 10 minutes, at which point your ship arrives in the system, and you can swap back over to it and fly it yourself!
This makes things like Multicrew much more beneficial(since you can do them WHILE you travel), and also gives more value to NPCs, and resolves a longstanding point of frustration, all in one!
