I like placing my shops first so they align with the grid but then I'm unable to get the shells to align properly without fiddling around with them for hours.
Why can we align/snap shops to shells but not the other way around?
It just makes building frustrating since things never align unless you zoom in and adjust them to the millimetre.
Just make them snap to the shop for god's sake.
I also reported this as a bug because if you place a facility that has a shell already, you won't be able to align any other facilities to it like you can with the plain ones: https://issues.frontierstore.net/issue-detail/58546
