As the title says, let us know what you think of CQC.

Quite.

I get a nice Quake/Unreal vibe out of CQC. It's not where I will spend all my time, but sometimes combat zones and RESes get old. I wish the combat zones had some of the large setpieces that CQC has.

Hurray for CQC!

I'll be dedicating the next 2 months of my life in an attempt to Prestige (the next 2 months being the period between now and Horizons/1.5 Beta) :D

What's your preferred CQC ship? Do you plan on Prestiging (which apparently is not a real word)?

The competition sound appealing, so I would give it a try. In the next 2 month I am going to move abroad, so It's difficult to say how much time i got, but I'd like to prestige myself to the max rank.

I'm curious to see what's special about this new permit-locked system, so I do plan to prestige at some point.

As for my favorite ship, it's definitely the Condor :D

Right? That competition sounds pretty serious. I wonder how many people out of the entire user base will enter that competition. I bet my odds are better at winning $15k through the lottery though.

Hey now, who doesn't like the good ol' Sidey. In the land of super fast, weakly shielded ships, the Sidey is a tank. But yeah, that Condor is pretty bleeping awesome.

I forgot about that permit-locked system! Maybe it's free Condors in the main game?! Hopeful wishing

Definitely wishful thinking, though we will be getting 'carrier pets' eventually in 1.5 or Horizons. Initially, the devs said the Condor was CQC only...

Yea - logged on and lasted one round of CQC then......the servers could not access my commander data......yeah..... a whole 4 mins of robustness......Will try again later.

Now I can get some pew pew after continuing to slowly get my CMDR back to civilization.
