My fellow commanders 07,
We are a small group of friends whoem recently seperated ourselfs form a far bigger group because we still believe that love for the game, having fun together, doing stuff together makes this game great. Not by dealing with drama that occurs within a group and where action is needed and several conversations are needed to mend the group back together.
This new small group has started a new Discord based on what we know, and the wishes we would have to keep this game alive and to try and challenge everyone to expand their abillities and grow as a pilot. Yes our group is mainly focussed on Thargoid and guardian related stuff, but also touching the other ways to help the current war if you are not into fighting them.
This small group are excellent pilots with long records in Thargoid warfare and we are willing to help anyone that joins , no matter what squadron your in, to develope this skill and level up your knowledge about this race, but also what to do and what not to do.
So this new Discord is created to try and function as a gathering place for all kind of pilots with all kinds of playstyles. With the recent abrupt halt of EDDB we try to connect to all the tools you as a pilot would need. Important links for materials, shipbuilds, engineers, galnet news, important YouTube videos you don't want to miss etc etc.
We ourselves still try to push our abillities by creating new challenges that can be done and the cups and medals and titels you can earn completing one. Your starting is rank based according your progress on INARA. The more you have done... The higher the rank. But ofcourse a rank is nice, but the important thing is a place where we can meet and help eachother, have fun together. As said before this Discord is now small and we implemented alot of ideas we had, what to connect or what to do to make this Discord channel fun, amusing, readable, meetplace for Elite minded pilots. Ofcourse we have a few rules, but i assure you, you would have these too, they are the most common ones.
So again this is no plea to get you to join our squadron ( i think if you see how relaxed and friendly this Discord environment is, you will join anyway lol ), but to come and join our Discord and find a place where you can stay and find everything you need for Elite Dangerous in one place as a base and fall into a ranking system too! The more pilots join our Discord, the more knowledgable it will become, and eventually we can all help eachother. Besides the more that join, there will be more ideas how to develope this Discord further, so it will deploy as the place to visit for friends , questions, lessons and ofcourse fun!
