Horizons Let's celebrate - first human landing in NGC 1931

Whilst I know I am not the first human to travel through this region, or even this system, I am pretty sure I am the first one to have landed on NGC 1931 Sector PD-S B4-0 9 A

Being my first landing since this Horizon's release on my exploration ship, I thought I'd celebrate this with a nice 15 year old whisky from the Auchentoshan distillery - a very rare item which I decided to take with me on this trip

After landing and finding that bottle in the captain's quarters (was quite well hidden in the captain's trunk ) I took the time to experience a really great "sunrise" (or is it a "NGC 1931 Sector PD-S B4-0-rise"? )

Anyway, here are some pics, apologies for the lack of image quality, without secondary screen it's still not really ideal to take pics from the Oculus Rift... and not to mention the final celebratory shot

It's just sad that you can't convey the feeling and immersion of the Oculus Rift in those screenshots, and also looks much better when you actually see it

Thanks, and yeah it was nice, glad they are still making it to this day - no wonder you need a permit to get to the system

Decided to have another quick "fuel stop" on another planet in the NGC 1931 area, was just too nice around there to leave too soon

Parked her at the edge of some canyon, and enjoyed the view (and this time took off the Oculus Rift for better quality screens)
