Lets create an "Elite Dangerous Bucket List"

I'm thinking ti would be kind of cool to have an Elite Dangerous bucket list with cool and or nerdy challenges a player could give themselves, so obvious ones to get the ball rolling would be:
  • Make Elite in any discipline
  • Make Triple Elite
  • Make CQC Elite
  • First 1,000LY from bubble
  • First 5,000LY
  • Visit Hutton Orbital
  • Visit Colonia
  • Visit Sagittarius A
  • Visit Beagle Point
  • Make Top Rank with Federation
  • Make Top Rank with Empire
  • Become 100% Hostile with one super power
  • Become 100% Allied with one super power
  • Make your 100% Hostile 100% Allied
  • Own (or have at least flown) every ship
  • Have 100,000,000 Credits in cash
  • Have a 1 Billion Credits in cash
  • Visit the Pleiades
  • Encounter a Thargoid
  • Feed a thargoid (meta alloys / peoples - your choice)
  • Find Thargoid Sensors in space
  • Find Thargoid Probes in space
  • Visit Barnacles
  • Visit a Thargoid Base
  • Kill Thargoid Scouts
  • Kill a Thargoid Interceptor
  • Visit a Burning Station and rescue people
  • Earn enough Free Arx through game play to buy a snazzy item
  • Drive completely around a planet (circumnavigation)
  • Land on Mitterland Hollow (Crazy fast moving moon)
  • Ascend "Mount Neverest" in an SRV (from the bottom) - Highest known mountain in game
  • Go "Speedbowling" (High G planet freefall speed record)
  • Take part in a Buckyball Race
  • Visit the Guardians "Ancient Ruins"
  • Visit the Guardians "Structures" (data point puzzles)
  • Visit the Guardians "Beacon"
  • Unlock all guardian Technology Broker items
  • Unlock all Human Technology Broker items
  • Powerplay Supermarket Sweep (unlock and stockpile every powerplay module)
  • Flip a systems government by using BGS
  • Push your chosen BGS faction to expand into a new system
  • Push your chosen BGS faction to control that new system
  • Push a BGS faction you dislike out of a system (into retreat - can't be booted from their home system)
  • Rank up your SLF Pilot to "Elite"
  • Unlock and G5 access all the engineers
  • Build at least one ship with maxxed out engineering
  • Visit the Formadine rift and the Zurara
  • Repel a capital ship from a Conflict Zone
  • Pirate a player
  • Reverse pirate noobs (drop valuable cargo for them to collect)
  • Pick up MAX Notoriety
  • Tank an ATR squad
  • Win a PvP fight - proper fight not ganking someone (wait for it....)
  • Gank someone
  • Reverse Gank someone - send a wanna be ganker to the rebuy screen
  • Make Rank 5 with a powerplay faction
  • Maintain that rank for a period of time
  • Learn to fly Flight Assist Off
  • Visit the epic canyons of Pomeche 2 C
  • Visit Sol (our solar system - Federation Capital)
  • Visit Achenar (Imperial Capital)
  • Discover something through ingame rather than websites
    • such as find a listening post and follow its lead to a generation ship
  • Visit the INRA sites
  • Visit Jameson's crash site
  • Go SRV guyser surfing
Once others suggest other things in the replies I'll add them to this list, and will likely split it up into sub lists, like a thargoid list, a Guardians list etc...

  • Rant on the forum about people mocking your posts
  • Get suspended from the forum because you didn't read the forum rules about discussing moderation
  • Return to the forum, make thread #1,001 about something that's been discussed several times since 2014
  • Have 100,000,000 posts on the forum (let's be real for a minute, only TJ will ever have that many posts)
  • Have a 1 Billion posts (another TJ bucket list goal)
  • Blame TJ
  • Get suspended again from the forum, this time by TJ
  • Realise it's probably not a good idea to blame TJ
  • Return to the forum, make an effort to get back into the game
  • Realise you still don't understand how to play the game
  • Spend an evening reading the change log, while you wait for the launcher to update at 1kb/minute
  • Finally get into the game to check out the new stuff, and leave after 5 minutes because you still don't understand how to play the game
  • Start typing a post on the forum to moan, then think better of it and delete your post
  • Wonder why the forum keeps inserting a quote you decided not to respond to
  • Blame Brett for updating the forum
  • Realise Brett's not on the forum any more, so it can't be his fault
  • DO NOT blame TJ
  • Visit INARA and fail to understand how to use that site
  • Completely fail to group with anyone in the game
  • Go outside (ok, I'm joking, no gamer likes going outside)
  • Take another look at the forum, fail to understand any of the threads people are talking about
  • Visit EDDB, fail to understand how to use it properly
  • Visit the Hutton Truckers site, fail to understand what the heck is going on
  • Visit Youtube, fail to understand what Yamicks is going on about
  • After many attempts and years of slow progress, you finally have an Anaconda
  • Fail to understand how to upgrade your Anaconda
  • Sell your Anaconda
  • Buy a Python
  • Lose faith in ever upgrading your Python
  • Find an Engineer
  • Watch another Youtube video on the Engineers
  • Fail to understand how Engineers works
  • Uninstall the game

I've picked about 15 from it that I'd like to do, and a couple I may... but can't think of anything novel to add at the moment. Thanks for the inspiration (that is now copied onto a PC Post-it) 👍
