Horizons Let's discuss the possible Alien encounters that have been going on recently

Hey guys,

The reason I am writing this is because I have several questions about these occurrences that have been going on. I have a few statements I would like to say before I get into my questions. I am pretty sure that several of you will be angry by what I will say though.

I would like to start by saying that we don't know that these ships are for a fact:

A) Alien, they could be a new military type space craft that the power leaders are testing out. Not a ship or tech that we will be having access to,
B) Thargoid! We have no confirmation that this is what they are.

Just keep in mind that nothing has been confirmed accept that this has been happening. What this is and what 'they' want is still a mystery. And with that I get into what I want to ask about. The crux of this entire post.

So I went to the best known ancient ruins. I found everything there scanned everything and did something that no one else has even talked about. You know those pillars that come out of the ground? have a nice shiny thing in them. You can scan them! Well that's JUST what everyone does and no more and take off. Did you know you can shoot the top and blow the glowy crystals out and collect them? Yep they're called "Ancient Relic". There's four of them on that site. And as far as I know that's the only place you can find them. Well after that happened there was a weird message that appeared on my screen, something that said something about sending a signal into space. Immediately after that within 3 hours this guy has a video up about how he gets pulled out of witch space by a strange ship.

I noticed he was on open mode. Since then I have been trying to keep up with the information coming in and it seems like the people that are getting this to happen are on open only. I have tried since than countless times with relics and other items in my hold to no avail. Hours and hours. And the crux here is I ONLY play on Solo mode, and on a rare occasion I play on private groups. I don't play on Open. So my question is, how do you get this thing to occur? Is it for OPEN only???? I haven't seen or heard anyone talk about this.

People have done all sorts of things, those ruins have been experimented on endlessly.

Good luck with your attempts.

I doubt there is any connection between your activities at the site, and the appearance of UFOs

While this may not be Thargoid in origin, I find it very difficult, in fact, almost impossible, to believe that it is the work of a known Human superpower; i.e. Federation, Empire, or Alliance. The reason is simple. Ships follow a design evolution. The Adder didn't spring up from nothing. They Anaconda, Python, Cobra MK III didn't spring into being fully formed. There were countless ships before them all leading to what we have today. We've seen no ship in the known Human design evolution of ships that would suggest anything like a ship like this. But we have seen a ship that resembles it in the Thargoid design evolution. The circular trapazoids of the Original Elite (well, Elite Plus for me). Ships and structures don't spring up suddenly from nothing.

They are genetically modified. The sprout taken to its extreme, powered by the gases they once created, when digested. You can see the vapor when they move.

The other thing that i keep wondering about is the bump you get as they leave...... why? They're technologically more advanced, we are a stationary object, its not like they can't see us. Are we being interdicted because they are curious and only after the scan do they realize they have crippled us and its a way of putting distance between us and them. Its not a hostile act, if it were bad intentions they could simply kill us, Is it a form of communication?

I'm not convinced there's any hostile intentions in this (yet), curiosity at best, intelligence gathering at worse.

I wasn't convinced by the "it could be unknown military" idea until i saw Obs Ants video where he demonstrates in no uncertain terms that these ships are exactly the same as the Galnet symbol and the IMP's do have a crashed site under lock down, reverse engineering could well be at play by one or more power here....

Of course i maybe just reading more into the fact its anything other then just an encounter to entertain us and theres no point speculating about it....... but wheres the fun in that :)

The thing I love about this type of discussion is that because the encounter is currently of an unknown origin, many people try hard to look at the clues etc and figure out what this could be. Saying the ship is the same as the Galnet Symbol is a great example of this, and just adds to the mystery of who actually is behind the design.

Space, you gotta love it!!

First, I find that reports not serious ! lack of data about interdictions in all cases we have only the sector and the most important is not given. Just because those who have experienced the event see themselves in a game where everything is fun when it's new ....

So to correctly answer your question:

ATM , some variables are missing to hope to reproduce that triggered event
- Sector, system - some data
- Day - no data
- hours - no data
- Cargo - unsure
- Game mode open/ private/ solo - unsure

With these data we can already better plan research and define if this triggered event is random or fixed.

For my part I do not even try to find them because nothing tells us if this contact is safe for our future ! :D

To further the the theory of it could be federation or the empire in these ships for new military tech. You have to remember. This goes back to 2.1 The Engineers. Why are the engineers so good at what they do and what they specialize in? Did you know the feds and the emps have exactly the same techs for each system design for the engineers. Example: Farseering Inc is for FSD boosting and a few other things. She is a Fed, on the Emp side there is a person that does the exact same thing Farseer does. My theory is that the engineers are people that were taken into a secret military alliance between the feds and the emps. That they know of a threat of some kind (or maybe it's not an alliance and one knows the other is suiting for full war??? dunno) that they haven't told the public about yet. So now they are testing new tech out that they stole from a downed Thargoid ship (or other alien ship(s)) in order to battle this 'threat' that will be coming soon (or at some point). And this (coined term) "hyperdiction" is only a test to see if the ship works. Hence it didn't attack.

More to support is if you go to the crashed ship area that was released with 2.0. You will see an anaconda there and a Scarab there destroyed as well as a few other ships (from what I saw on several videos on youtube) with the wreckage of the "alien" ship there. We would be stupid if we didn't think the governments weren't looking into this technology. Especially since people "UA BOMB" a station. Heck it could have been a military test site to see how much these "new" ships can take from existing player ships and tech. 1 ship down multiple player ships scattered around in the field of parts and stuff scattered around.

Anyway I think the Engineers can do what they do because they have studied "alien" tech and that is what makes them able to do the upgrades they do.... after all Farseer wants meta alloy which is alien in origin....

Of course this is only a theory.

I've been looking at the design of these ships, and the first word that comes to mind is "biomechanoid". These ships definately look like they have been grown.

Also if you listen to the audio of the alien ship as it flies by, it almost sounds like a heartbeat...

FD comes introducing the subject so slow that is as background noise, it's never anything that really changed the game.

There is no invasion, conflict, war.

At least it's a strange approach, we finally found out that there is another kind of life and ok we go to the supermarket and then we picked up the kids from school, no big

deal [alien] humm....
