So... 3.0 behind the corner, overall crime/bounty abolition and pardon included. Brand new start, fresh slate. So why not to take advantage of it, cater to our inner evil one and for once wreak total mayhem, havoc and pure destruction.

All it is needed is just a simple price tweak from FDEVs, trivial pre 3.0 patch:
- ALL insurances for the event duration are reduced to 1 CR.
- ALL rebuy costs for the event duration are reduced to 1 CR.
- ALL weapon costs for the event duration are reduced to 1 CR.

System security keep pestering you with scans while you try to smuggle? TORPEDOES AWAY!
System security ram-scanned you? REPAY THE FAVOR WITH LASERS!
Someone is taking too long to leave the pad? YOU GET THE IDEA, RIGHT?

Law? Society? Order? Who needs that - let's go mental and set the bubble on fire. Let's make Galaxy one big bonfire in which we sacrifice all that is good and proper. Let's make it day to remember.

Because everyone, deep inside, want to see the world burn....

I'm afraid you're a little late for the mental time that is the end of the Beta. There was a bunch of us that took our biggest ships and flew them at breakneck speed through the narrowest of openings at San Tu Scientific Installation

Usually there's a big beta blowout free-for-all punch up at the end of a Beta but I missed any suggestions for one this time around.

There will be other betas. Keep an eye out for the next time. And if nobody suggests it, then maybe you could arrange it.

But I'm not talking about beta. I'm talking about that time between beta end and official release. Live event to implement 3.0 with a bang, for everyone. Betas are somewhat limited only to participants, that "what if" moment. I call for a pre-patch event that occurs in live servers. One day it's day as usual, next day gates of all hells open. Let it be a weekend, 2-3 days tops of total madness. Then 3.0 kicks in, new rules, old prices and restrictions.

Who got into the event would get some exclusive memories. My inner baddie would cherish for such an event as normally I'm law abiding small scale trader.

I'm not familiar with MMOs. Whereabouts have you seen something like this before?

The best place for this sort or mayhem must surely be the end of beta? It would be too complicated to implement something like that in the main game?

Were you aware that this beta that's just finished was an open beta? You could have participated if you wanted to. I'd suggest that instead of asking for a day of haywire in the main game, you should ask for the next beta also be free for everyone to attend.
