Okay was on my way to Walmart and was thinking about power. I know some ships have power issues. What would happen if you put in two power plants in to your ship?

Is that even possible seems to me from looking through the outfitting internals screen you only get the option to add a powerplant in replacement of the one that is currently fitted to the ship.

There are dedicated slots and there are multi-purpose slots. The engine, thrusters, sensors and FSD packages are all dedicated slots. The shield goes in a multipurpose slot, but you can only equip one (or none at all and replace it with a cargo rack if you're particularly avaricious).

You can only, therefore, fit one powerplant, shield generator, thrusters, FSD and sensors.
