Leucistic African Buffalo (White Fur)

What's the difference with leucism and albinism?

Albinism is a condition in which there is an absence of melanin, which gives colour to the skin, feathers, fur and eyes. The opposite is melanism.Animals with albinism very often have red/pink eyes, noses and/or hooves.(because of the blood vessels.)
Leucism is a partial loss of pigmentation, which can make the animal appear pure white or patchily coloured. The colloquial term for partial leucism is piebald.Leucistic animals keep their eye colour and have for example a black nose and hooves like this buffalo.

The comments in here are so ... restrained!

Hey, guys, this is awesome news and I love it :D

Not that I wouldn't have been extremely surprised if such fur variations wouldn't have made it into the game.
Nevertheless the confirmation is great!

Thanks for sharing, Salamol!

My final leucistic. He's elderly now, so unlikely to get very far with the ladies. He's still got a few years in him, he's 20 and his brother lived to be 32.

All told I think I had 5 females and 6 males over about 90 years.

I really like it that this is already in the Beta. Does anyone know other Mutations that are already in the Beta? I seen a white Lemur on a Screenshot that was posted somewhere but these two are the only Mutations in the Game I know about. I hope there is the possibility to get white Peafowl. They would look awesome in my Entrance-Area (Kingdom of the Peacocks)
