Level 2,3 detail scans ?

Does anyone know what a Level 2 or 3 scans are ?

How do you perform detail scan. I have a detailed planet scanner and Advanced Discovery scanner fitted to my Cobra.

You just point your ship at the planet and when you are close enough (depending on size of planet) it scans it.

Yes it does, but the Level 2 and Level 3 scans counters do not increase. Looks like that is something that hasn't been implemented yet.

It's not implemented yet. My guess would be when we get planet landings those detailed scans will come into play.

They wouldn't put in values for a DLC that won't be actioned for year(s) yet? They'd simpyl not show them until required.

I suspect they'll come into play shortly...
