like i said. Few hours of undermining kills to get you roughly 2k merits and buy the rest with your 50 mil you get per week. That 50mil is 5000 merits which is enough on it's own to maintain you at rank 5 week to week. You should be able to hold rank 5 with no more than two evening's worth of effort per week. if that.

How do you do this? I've spent nearly double that and only have 1800 merits to show for it.

The 2-3 hours is for maintaining rank 5. Given the 50 million Cr bonus, you can spend most of it on fast tracking and keep the rest. Without further utilizing PP benefits, you make 15 million per week with just investing one evening.

Of course, using PP rank 5 benefits on the other 6 evenings, you can make lots of Cr, fast.

Getting/maintaining rank 5 is mostly a Cr investment (or lots of grinding).
