lf capital ships in combat

hi there,
i never have seen any capital ship yet and i like to find one. on the wiki are serval systems listed but i guess the capital ships are just idling there around since they are kind of pinned there.
im looking for some in combat action. i was on 2 war zones which are named in galnet but in there, there was cease fire.
how can i find them? if someone can tell me a place with a majestic class interdictor, that would be awesome.

Do they still spawn in war zones? The besting sound in game was hearing that drop from warp. Please allow me to see that again!

I have a few issues with the capital ships,

1.they don't move, just sit there.
2.they and not that dangerous
3.they do not launch fighters
4.they are more like a pretty backdrop to the combat area.

Capital ships spawns to high intensity combat zones if minor faction that is part of Empire or Federation try to expand to new system or defend system from expansion. Expansion always happen with war so capital ships won't spawn to fight in civil wars.

Easiest way to find one is to ask player groups behind player factions that are part of Empire or Federation if they have any expansions going.

majestic class interdictor, that would be awesome.

There was an Imperial Capital ship in Facece today, not in combat, I guess it's the replacement for the one the Thargoids* blew up.
You need Empire rank of Earl for the system permit though.

*Might not have be Thargoids.

They do, on arrival.


Edit: between 0:55 and 1:00 on my first pass in this video, you can see the launched fighters (and their trails coming from the Capital Ship), and one is caught in the blast of a dumbfire missile.
