Hardware & Technical LGUM34 95 Resolution support?

Hi,

After looking for some time for a new monitor to do justice to ED, i've narrowed my choice to the new super wide LG34" monitor (3440x1440) res.

For those not acquitted with this monitor, its basically an IPS 27" monitor, stretched out to 16:9 format (while keeping the height normally associated with a 16:10 format).

Would anyone have any reason to doubt ED will support this new resolution and size??

I'd rather find out before parting with £600!!!

I'm not 100%, but am pretty sure elite's resolutions in the options are taken from Windows, in other words it'll do any resolution windows has in the display options.

That's actually an ultrawide 21:9 format screen. I know some players are using them with no issues and very good results.

Thanks chaps, i thought it would be ok, its alot of money thus i wanted to check..seems a very good monitor big screen play, without lossing the height normally associated with smaller 21:9 format.
