well. uhm. equipped with two med. gimb. beams and 2 med. gimb. pulses.
is this thing intended to fry itself?
on the huge is a c3 turreted burst, but even when that's not firing, 5 secs is enough
to cook ma internals. and i mean MA internals.

FDL does have serious heat issues as well as jump range issues...
Be sure to fit an A rated powerplant and an A rated distributor.
If you want to fit 2 or more beam lasers you really have to make everything else a kinetic weapon.
I'd advise having pulse lasers everywhere, maybe with the huge hardpoint as a cannon or plasma accelerator...

i thought it would work, the pd should fire this. never thought about heat.

It could have changed in the latest powerplay update I can't check now but others have reported it still being there.. Clipper was changed to be accessible to other ranks with Emperors recovery through Galnet, its possible that the devs accidentally tweaked the value when changing it one way or the other.
You seem to be shotgunning all the threads even remotely related to discounts which is not helping since I have posts on most of them.
Umbilo does 15 percent, and then jump to diaguandri to upgrade the modules
