No. You're thinking of Star Citizen (Assuming they manage to finish it some day). This isn't that game, nor should it be.
Nope, he's thinking Elite: Dangerous. First Person a planned expansion, it's been there since the Kickstarter.
But you can't shoot first at the George Lucas Station, don't foregett that.Ah virtual bar weh wi can meet up, play virtual poker an shoot first would be nice.
nobody ask for a FPS here

I'm sure it's coming, personally I don't see the point. Sure you can leave your ship but what then..? Walking around a space station is going to get boring fast. I'd rather see Planetary Landing first, now that I'm looking forward to. Loved it in Frontier.
This....Stop with this ''This is not Star Citizens'' crap please...we're all aware of it....nobody ask for a FPS here, and if the game can benefit of further expansions as cities, planetary landing and walk around in planets and stations (and why not, an interstellar pub) has nothing to do with SC...Chris Roberts have not copyrights for the stuff above, and i strongly hope it will become reality ASAP.
Braben have is beautyful vision of this stuff...and i can bet it will be completely different from SC, even if the contents could look the same.
Cities? Walking around in planets and stations with interstellar bars?
This is pie in the sky stuff. FDev have the resources, maybe, to make Elite: Dangerous with more fleshed out missions, a dozen or so more ships, and keep the servers, universe, galnet etc going.
I doubt they've the resources to basically make the most massive game ever. Let's take a look at one great big awkward fact here for everyone hoping for this content; it's taken FDev half a year to come up with wings, powerplay (which are basically just re-hashed community goals overlaid over a board game), and a total of around 8 new ships.
You all want interactive stations and planets? See you in 2060.
FPS Has not been discussed from Braben If i recall correctly, and this should not seems to be in his plans...anyway i think more contents we have, the better. I'm not against anything.
