I thought this would have been tidied up since early access of Odyssey.
I was sadly mistaken.
Two lifts in the hanger, and magically four in the concourse.
Are the other two magical lifts of some sort

Perhaps because there is more than one hangar?

The extra two lifts go to the secret Panther Clipper, and it's launch bay, but you need an invite from David Braben himself.

Two of the elevators end up not in the hangar.
They need a way to dispose of undesirables... and living space is very limited on an Outpost

I think you should have elevator squatters rights when going back up to the concourse from the hanger too...……………………………..
but no some invisible thingy will forcefully evict you out the lift and may even cause temporary blindness briefly

I have been looking for seven years now and still have not found a hint of Raxxla or the fabled Cloaking Device
