Light that go through the wall?

Hello everyone.

First of all, sorry for my bad english.

I have create some buildings and put in dynamic lights (moving head). The problem is that the light go through the wall, and we can see them outside the building...

Is that a bug or can it be fixed (like in RCT3 if you remember...)?

Thank you for your help.

Currently, our only solution is to use terrain, but thats very time consuming [yesnod] Im hoping for improved terrain tools to make walls of terrain easier, that way it would block out the light better! *hopes*

Thank you fof your answer. :) that's really bad, because we can see the reflect of the light on the wall, but it still go through...
And I don't really know how I will be able to add terrain... But anyway, thank you for your answer! :)

The lighting engine is probably one of the weakest parts of Planet Coaster, in my opinion. There are problems with both placed lights and the world lighting. My personal pet peeve is the 'black water bug' where water turns black at night or underground because it only affects the ambient daylight.

In any case, yeah light goes through walls. Sometimes moving where the light is, putting the source further away from the wall, can help. Not all lights do this to the same extent either. You kind of have to experiment if it bothers you, unfortunately.

Hey, thank you for your answer.
I will experiment this so. :)
Do you know if they will patch lights soon?
Thank you again.
