Engineers "Lightweight Armour" on default default lightweight alloy

You are correct. Bonus info: heavy duty hull reinforcement adds a percentage of weight to your armour, while at the same time adding a flat value of reinforcement and resistances. It's very easy to calculate how much heavier lightweight alloy gets, when 39% of 0t get added. :D

Wow. I type way too slow, it seems. :D

Go Heavy Duty. Still no weight gain but much better stats

Nice! Ta! Handy for an exploration ship!

Reinforced and up are valid candidates for upgrades, go for the light weight on reinforced for explorer ship

I got 75% on my first role for my exploration Asp.

Looks like I'm the only person not getting the ridiculously good rolls. [sour]

Anyway, good illustration point. Asp with military armor - Hull: 735 (613Ki/735Th/525Ex). Asp with Light Armor +75% boost - Hull: 504 (420Ki/504Th/360Ex). That's pretty close but it did require a blueprint breaker.

Yes... But now the new balancing nonsense the Engineers has introduced - a needless raise in upper tier - it now means you need 75% ontop of military's 75% boost. ie: 131%!

And we've note even discussed the 60% hull reinforcement package!
