Horizons like a kid with a new toy

I have been driving my SRV around since the release with no control of pitch and roll axis. I didn't realise you had to setup controls for it.(duh).
I thought I could control it pretty good as is. after realising controls needed to be setup. :D its so much more fun. a few mishaps on the new learning curve was necessary the synthesis soon sorted. getting back to the fun :)

Yeah, it's a lot of fun. :)
Sometimes I wish SRV had yaw control as well, though. It would help in those cases when you are kicked sideways just as you jump.

But flips and rolls down the hill never get old.

If you have a Sol permit, I recommend flying to Ariel moon. It's one of the most fun things for both the ship and the SRV you can find in the inhabited space. ;)
There are canyons 12-15 kilometers deep, filled with a mist so thick that you don't see outside and some have pretty narrow, but flat floors for the SRV racing.

Wait, what now? How is there a mist on an airless moon? Do you just have your gamma settings set really high or is there actually a mist/fog of some kind on the moon?

It's because there are so many of those pesky kids racing their SRVs recklessly making all those dust clouds.

Hehe, no. Even on atmosphere-less planet, there can be minerals containing water or other chemicals that evaporate above the surface and then, thanks to gravity tend to tend to flow into the canyons and deep craters and keep itself theree.
I'm surprised you haven't found such place, yet. They are quite common.

Many planets have foggy/misty/gaseous parts. There is no atmosphere, so its only held there due to gravity. You'll find it in craters and canyons, and usually the system map will tell you about it.
