How about a set of tee shirts that say something about our support for the development of ED, but only for those in the know?
As the FD store knows at what level we joined the game only the alpha backers would be able to purchase the Zelanda tee, P-Beta backers the 5 star system tee, and so on and so forth.
As an attendee of both LaveCon and FantasiCon this year I was thinking that it would be nice to have something to remember these times. Next year, when the game is (hopefully) released, the conventions will grow. They'll need to, Allen posted that LaveCon didn't make a profit, and Dan wasn't sure that FantasiCon had when I spoke to him about it during the break down.
And with the conventions being larger we will lose something - the intimacy. I happily left thousands of pounds of equipment just lying around. And I wasn't the only one. So it would be nice to have something to remember those times, and allow us, at the various meet ups, to quickly identify ourselves, and reminisce about the good old days, when fuel was free, jump ranges unlimited, and you learnt to bounce off the shields of the AIs that parked just inside the entrance to get a better line to the pads close to the front.
- Alpha backers get a tee with just Zelanda on it,
- Premium Beta backers have the limited 5 star system map,
- Beta backers have the current 55 star system map, and
- Gamma backers get the milky way.
