Limpet....

I've come across 3 terraforming economies, all exporting biowaste and limpet.
However, in their markets, the only exports are biowaste and hydrogen.
No limpet, anywhere.
Is this an error?

I was confused by this myself. I think limpets arent a commodity but a weapon for breaking cargo hatches. Not sure why they are listed it the commodities trade data if thats the case though.

It also doesnt seem to make much sense to me you carry them in cargo canisters in your hold either.

I think they're listed as commodities because you fit the limpet controller as a module but each limpet takes up a cargo slot in your ship.

I get what you're saying, but I'm still confused lol.

The 'ammo' for the limpet controller is not just bought and stored in the weapon, it actually takes up a cargo space in your cargohold. You have to buy them intentionally from the 'munitions' screen in station services, the 'rearm' (or is it reload?) command does not reload them, because you need to decide how much of your hold you want to take up with limpets.
