Limpets, ship repair

Could some consideration be given to synthesizing limpets from mined material?

Would complement the upcoming ship repair limpets, particularly to explorers as to re-stocking when far, far away.

I think there a topic somewhere about limpets and repairs and one of the Dev video about 3 4 weeks ago.

That's helpful, considering I crashed into a planet while attempting to land because a mountain hadn't fully rendered and now I have 46% or so hull left. Just hope the materials needed are some I already have, because I don't want to risk another landing! [haha]

Though saying that, I'll probably have either returned to inhabited space and repaired, or crashed and blown up by the time the update is live.
