Limpets Should Stay With Ship

When switching ships the limpets should stay with the ship they were on. They should not automatically transfer to another ship. It makes no sense for them to transfer, and it is annoying.

Yes I know they are considered cargo, and cargo is supposed to transfer, blah blah blah. I don't want to bring up the whole cargo storage/xfer debate. I'm just talking limpets. IMO limpets are equivalent to ammo. They belong to the ship that has the equipment that they were purchased for. They should be allowed to stay on the ship, even when it is being stored. They don't belong on some other ship that you are switching to, that makes no sense. Just like other forms of ammo leave them on the ship they were purchased for..

How many seconds of your life that makes it so important that you cannot buy and sell?
More likely you can't remember to kit your ship for every mission.
Might as well ask for an auto stoopid button.

Instead of an auto stooped button I suggested something that makes logical sense and would make the game just a little bit better. I'm pretty sure that's what this forum is for.

Crazy idea that may or may not have been mentioned before...

Make Limpets Ammo of the Controller

Poof. No more cargo. No more ship transfer issues. Synthesis still available. Restocking rather than advanced maintenance to get more limpets.

Bigger Controllers have more limpets as ammunition.
Problem solved. The one and only ammunition item in the game that is cargo is finally categorized correctly.

Oh, and the infuriating collecting of 'stolen' limpets ceases to be, too.
How awful.

i actually have this on my small list of small improvements.

but what i'd like even more, i even want this sine limpets were introduced, is make them ammo for the module, so they don't use up any cargo space.

I always wanted the limpets to go back into the ship after you deploy them if there is nothing else that you need to pick up but they still have plenty of life left in them
