"Link your XBox Live Account o a free Frontier Account"

So I just logged in to attempt to continue my progress on the CG and get beyond the top 50% of contribution, and this lovely error greeted me. Treating it as if I have never played the game and need to create a new account. The problem seems to persist when I try to change consoles and download my cloud saves there, too.

XBox Live is not reporting any known errors on their end (Yet)

Any suggestions beyond the standard basics like cache clear, etc.?

Obviously I'm no clicking okay to either of the options since I do not want to risk deleting the Cmdr profile I have six years invested in by it accidentally linking to the wrong store account.

Eventually it seemed to go away. My guess is, from looking at the forums and seeing how it seems to be an issue that shows up semi-regularly, often in the same months year on year, and how last time it happened in 2021, they claimed to have found a fix, that it's one of those recurrent things that a fix could be bodged for the server-side code that just reboots something every time it ticks over.

I think this is likely, around the same time that you posted this, I had issues on PlayStation whereby the game was acting as if I didn't have Horizons. So potentially a transitory game authorisation issue on the Frontier side.
