Linking existing (PC / MAC) Frontier account to PS4 (PSN)

Can i link existing Frontier account (PC/MAC) to my PSN account, because i can't use another email address? And how can i obtain Horizons to my PS4 base version of the game. I made a mistake and purchased base game and not the Deluxe version. It would be nice to have all the content right from beginning

From what was said in the live stream, you will be able to link your ps4 account to a pre-existing one that has another commander on it, but you won't be able to move your commander from pc to ps4, it'll be a new commander.

Horizons, as well as all other purchasable content, should become available to buy once the game is live.

Sorry for the daft question but what's the advantage of linking your accounts? Is it to do with your email address?

You have to link accounts to play.

If you don't link accounts you a) can't play at all and b) can't buy anything from the store.

Are there any advantages linking to an existing Frontier account which is used for the PC compared to setting up a new Frontier account just for the PS4, apart from being able to use the same email address? I can have multiple email addresses so that isn't a problem for me. Are there any disadvantages?

Word of warning - make sure when you're linking accounts that the PS+ account is the one that you're linking to.....I've just linked the game to my existing frontier store account and my son has PS+ linked to his email address and guess what, I've made a mistake and he can't play in Open.....

Support ticket created....... silly think to do but I use the PC version of ED and don't use the PS4 at all

Support is what you need if something has gone wrong with your account. See if you can fix it yourself, if not open a ticket and they'll usually be back to you within 24 hrs and usually will have fixed everything for you

Thank you! I was worried for no reason. Frontier has done this very distinct and simple for us. Everything works just like it should

Thanks for the help. I panicked when I realised I had to log in. I created such an amazing password that even I couldn't remember it! I'm glad to say the reset password function works as intended. Nice one FD.
