Lions should be able to climb

From what I can tell lions can't navigate up any kind of slope. Pretty sure some lions have been known to climb trees in three wild.

I wasn't to have a pride rock overlooking my lion habitat and the lions can navigate up a slope and them lay atop the rock overlooking their kingdom. Sadly this is not currently possible since lions won't even step on flat rocks in my zoo.

Is this intentional or a bug?

They should be able to climb more, but I know for a fact building a useable Pride Rock is possible (dozens of people did it during the Beta - check out YouTube for it). The traversable terrain can be really finnicky to deal with. As an example, I laid rocks around a pond in my wolf enclosure, but then the wolves started getting dehydrated. Turns out that although they could jump onto other rocks, they for some reason couldn't walk over the ones at near-ground level.

Yes because I built a mountain out of rocks that they ended up not being able to climb, so i tested it by sinking a flat rock into the ground so it was basically flat and they couldn't walk over it :(

Lions are generally lazy and will very very rarely climb if it's required to get somewhere, they don't very often get food stolen from them so no need to hide it up trees although it can happen from certain animals if they have the numbers.

I have built a rock mountain and put some flat rocks on it half way up for them to sleep on and had to build a ramp of rocks up to it at the correct angle to get them to use it.
